Hello, I am Emi Watson. I created this site to share my passion for barn-style garage doors. When I was growing up, overhead garage doors were not in style. In fact, almost all of the houses in my area featured detached garages with outward swinging doors. The doors were accented with 2x4 boards that were painted in a contrasting color. As a result, the small garage perfectly matched the design and color scheme used for the barn. When I moved into my first house, I made sure the garage had a set of barn doors to retain the comfort of home.
